Welcome to the latest edition of BC Toy Spotting! We are in and out of stores pretty much every day, and we figure (ha!) why not show all of our fellow collectors what we are coming across on pegs and shelves. As collectors, we know that staying on top of what is in stores can be almost a full time job, so we are here to help you with your toy hunts and outings. This week in a Super Bowl Sunday special edition, we found tons of Funko, Marvel Legends, Transformers, NECA, and tons more. Let’s dig in.
Hot Topic has an exclusive DC Collectibles DC Artists Alley Catwoman statue, along with them stocking the Kotobukiya Hot Topic exclusive Bishujo Ash Williams Evil Dead statue.
Disney Stores have new Toy Box figures, including a four pack of Toy Story figures and characters from Moana. They are also stocking a Marvel Select Homecoming Spider-Man figure that I feel like I have never seen before.
Targets got in some of the NECA Kenner Terminator figures.
A new MetalFigs Mickey Mouse figure can be found at Gamestop.
The latest Spider-Man wave of Marvel Legends is till popping up in force at Gamestop. Look for our review of Night Thrasher this week!
New StikBot figures are popping up in Walmarts if you collect them.
Transformers collectors can find the two latest G! minibot Walmart exclusives on the pegs, as Gears and Warpath are showing up in stores. The Cyberverse Hot Rod and Prowl are also making an appearance.
LEGO fans can find the Captain Marvel sets and the Batman Brother Eye set at Target right now.
Funko had a ton of stuff hit shelves this week everywhere. Stores got in the Mega Man wave of figures, while Hot Topic got in the new Winnie the Pooh vinyl figures. Vnyl packs hitting this week included the Mickey and Minnie tow pack, along with the Chewbacca and c-3PO set.
Finally, Funko Pops galore! Dumbo fans will want to hit Hot Topic, as they have started to receive the new wave of Dumbo Pops, along with the Hot Topic exclusive Disney Treasures Dumbo box. They also got in the new Britney Spears Pop, and the new Star Wars Return of the Jedi wave of Pops have started to show up there as well. Their Harley Quinn Diamond Edition and Dawnbreaker light-up Pop exclusives round out the HT releases for the week. BoxLunch got in the Sour Patch Kids Pops already, and their Funko exclusive Goose from Captain Marvel and Tiny Rick with a guitar from Rick and Morty hit shelves. Lastly, Gamestops got in Rick James and the Jim Lee Pops continue with the Flash.
