Baby Yoda is the hottest thing in the world right now. The little tyke from the first two episodes from the Disney+ Star Wars show The Mandalorian has captivated not just the fanbase, but anyone who lays eyes on the thing. The one question on everyone’s mind is the same: where can we buy one? Showrunners Jon Favreau and Dave Filoni made sure “The Child” as it is actually known as was not revealed before the show’s debut last week. Once Baby Yoda peaked out of that hover basket however it was all over. Social media is stuffed with memes and references to the character, and we all wait with bated breath to see what will become of Baby Yoda in tomorrow’s next episode. Depending on when you want, you may have one next to you.

Baby Yoda merch could be in stores as early as Friday, according to a new report on CNBC. Amazon, Zazzle, Target, Kohl’s, Macy’s, Hot Topic and Box Lunch are all expected to at least have merch on preorder tomorrow, if not in stores. ShopDisney, Disney Stores, and Disney Parks will be stocked during the holidays. I am guessing we will see plush, Funko Pops, figures, tons of clothing, and knick knacks galore. There are two shirts on Amazon already, and you can bet that when the plush and Funko Pop hit they will become the hottest gift of the holiday season.
Some might pooh pooh this as stupid, or the further “Disney-fying” of Star Wars, and to those people I say not only are you wrong, but you should stop raining on everyone’s parade. While you can put me in the camp of hoping that the show doesn’t answer a ton of questions about Yoda’s backstory, I do want to know where his species came from and more importantly what they are called. Baby Yoda is our gateway to that, and it helps immensely that it is adorable.
Just point me in the direction of where I can buy one.
Funko Pop‘s are constantly being talked about and constantly being made. This time it’s a little different and something for that artistic side of any collector. Funko has announced that we will be getting three Disney characters that will be DIY Funko Pops. We have seen DIY Pop’s in the past with the male and female versions of these blank slates. This time we will be getting not specifically a blank slate but we will be getting three Disney characters that you can paint, drawn, style however you want as your own personalized one of a kind of Funko Pop. The three Disney characters that we will be getting our Bo Peep from Toy Story, Simba from The Lion King and last but not least, my favorite, Dumbo from Dumbo. Each one of these comes in a specialized DIY blank slate-style Pop box with a DIY sticker on the window. You can really open up your mind and use your imagination on any of these three Disney characters to really bring life to these blank characters. The one I will for sure be picking up is the Dumbo. There’s a lot of creative opportunities in that film that I think I would like to take the challenge of it.
All three of these Funko Pop Disney DIY characters are set up as exclusives and you can only find them at your local Michael’s store. They will only be available in store from 11/27 to 1/25/20, so go get yours before they are sold out. I hope we can see more DIY characters in the future as not only would it be entertaining for artistic collectors but kids too. Whoa! “Atomic Monsters” is a wonderful whirlwind. Equally frightening and funny. The “meat man” and “beaver” gags balance out the sadness over Rowena’s death, the serious severity of the Winchesters’ case, and their “conflict resolution.”
Vampire Weekend
Like Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean, we are puzzled by the mystery vampire assailant. We narrow it down to a stereo-typically sweet family. As it turns out, Mom and Dad have been protecting their teen vamp. The kid didn’t mean to hurt anybody, but he did.
The kicker: This kid assumes responsibility and asks the Winchesters to do their job – kill him before he kills anyone else.
The shocker: The Winchesters actually gank the young vamp! There’s no talk of finding a better way. No fake out. The boys just execute him, as requested.
I cringed watching this actually happen. I know – Saving people, hunting things…But there was no emo debate or anything. They just took action and did the deed. It is unsettling, as it should be.
In another blast from the past, we catch-up with the Winchesters’ ultimate fangirl – Becky (Emily Perkins). She’s come a long way since she cast a spell to make Sam marry her. Now, she’s married (for real) with kids. But her Supernatural loving heart still beats strong. She’s found a more mature (and sane) outlet for her devotion to the series – and yes, I could relate to the collectibles she’s amassed over the years.
Suddenly, Chuck (Rob Benedict) drops in and disrupts her life. He needs a muse and she’s the only one who appreciates his work. The writer asks for constructive criticism and inspiration , but what he truly wants is adoration. When Becky digs into his “art,” Chuck poofs her into a mysterious plain of existence. WTF?
Where did he send Becky and her family??? Who will curb Chuck’s uncontrollable and chilling narrative? I’m scared, SPN Family!
For Chuck’s Sake
Ugh, I’m not going to keep repeating myself all season – I promise. BUT I don’t understand why the writers choose to depict “God” in this maniacal, meaningless, and dark light. It’s not flipping Good and Evil. Or just making the Devil seem alluring and humorous. Or mocking the superficiality of some religious institutions.
By turning “God” into a mindless, purposeless, egotistical, hack writer, they’ve been demeaning a revered deity, disrespecting believers and crapping on a faith so many Supernatural viewers see as hopeful and loving.
I just don’t like it. This will always be my biggest beef with my favorite show (aside from the Leviathan storyline which sucked). It might sound hypocritical or paradoxical, but I can still love Supernatural and the Winchesters, while finding the idea of Chuck-god problematic.
Sleep Is A Battlefield
Ackles directed a badass action sequence – crossing off an item on his Supernatural bucket list and scaring the crap out of us. Although we have a hunch this is all a dream, our mind wanders and envisions all sorts of scenarios. Is this the future, another parallel universe, a monsters/deity’s doing…?
With Dean in the starring role, we’d assume he’s dreaming about going all Rambo. But then everything takes a turn and Sam wakes up in a sweat. How many of these haunting dreams has he had? What do they mean? Why are they so violent? Most importantly – why are the brothers fighting???
Mulan is an amazing and fantastic Disney classic. Originally airing in theaters in 1998 this film has been out for over 20 years. An amazing tale following Mulan as she enters the army undercover. She goes against the system to fight for what she believes in and in the end, she saves the day. Plus she even has a kick-ass sidekick Mushu voiced by the one and only Eddie Murphy. Relive this a Disney classic with new Funko Pop vinyl figures coming soon from Funko. There are five Pop vinyl characters in total getting released, one is a 10 inch and another is a Pop ride. First is the 10 inch which seemingly is the trendiest new style of Funko Pop’s coming out this year. We will be getting a 10 inch Mushu with the Lucky Cricket. This is seemingly based on the old mold which is perfectly fine. Next, we will be looking at the Funko Pop rides which have Mulan on her horse Khan. It is pretty well designed with the horse in motion in Mulan on the back and it would make a great addition to any Disney fans collection. Now on to the three Funko Pop figures for stuff is Mulan herself in her disguise as Ping. I enjoy the model this character and its something we haven’t seen from previous Funko Pops and with their technology now it’s finally able to be made and correctly. Then we will have a new mold for Mushu with his gong that we see at the beginning of the movie. I do like the more dynamic vibes we have been getting from Funko Pops they make each one definitely something unique and special. And last but not least we will be getting a Li Shang with a sword in hand and are ready for battle. This is a fan-favorite character and I’m glad they turned him into his own Funko Pop. All of these Funko pops are perfect for any Disney collector or a fan of Mulan.
All of these Mulan Funko pops, including the Pop ride as well as the 10-inch Pop will all be released as common releases. I hope we see more Funko’s come out in the future like Ping/Mulans military comrades so we can really get down to business to defeat the Huns.

The Mandalorian has been an amazing success on Disney+. The show has given a lot of Star Wars fans hopes and dreams for the franchise. Two episodes have already aired with the third airing this Friday. With the huge success of the show, I’m sure we’ll see a lot more collectibles come out of the woodwork for it. With the holiday season coming soon and the show being such a hit we decided to gather all of the hottest Mandalorian collectibles out there for you in one place.
First up we’re going to start small and cheap for this we are looking at Funko Pop vinyl. There are three specific ones you can collect, the first one was released at D23 as a first to market Mandalorian Pop vinyl. This one was later released to the public version which leads us to the second Funko Pop and you can find them online already and located here. They’re nice little small and simple designs and perfect to make your office desk or collection to scare off any Jawas. The last one was a New York Comic Con exclusive. The difference between the common and exclusive is he is posed in a different position but it still showcases his kick-ass armor. This one has sold out from its exclusive online release at the Funko-Shop but if looking you can find them online through third parties like Amazon and eBay.

Our next bounty is going up a little in price with Star Wars: The Black Series. The Mandalorian has three specific Star Wars: The Black Series figures you can collect. The first one is the normal common release which we have done a review on and you can find that located here. It comes with a blaster and his rifle and he is pretty decked out with detail and is perfect for any Star Wars collectors collection or fans of the Mandalorian. The common version Black Series figure does come with a first edition white box variant which is quite sought after. We were lucky enough to find ours on Triple Force Friday and you can read all about that experience here. Last but not least, Target got a carbonized version of the Mandalorian figure. It is roughly the same as the common except for it has a new metallic style paint scheme. These are roughly $20-$25 depending on where you get them you can lock down a pre-order for the common version of the Mandalorian located here.
Our next bounty leads us to Kotobukiya as they have announced a new Mandalorian statue in their ArtFX+ line. The Mandalorian statue is pretty remarkable and ready for action. The stylings of the statue showcase the Mandalorian quite well giving him a very western-styled positioning. I love the detail on this statue it is a must-have for any of the Mandalorian fans. Pre-orders are still alive for it and you can find him located here. He is expected to ship out in January 2020.
The better the exclusive the more credits they will want which now leads us to our next bounty which is up in the Republic credits with Hot Toys and their newest the Mandalorian 1/6 scale figure. He comes with three sets of interchangeable hands and comes with a bounty tracker, his pistol and his rifle. He does come with an amazing displayed stand with a Stormtrooper helmet on a spike. This Mandalorian figure will have a fabric cape and is packed with the detail. Hot Toys has priced him at $243 and is set to release between October and December 2020 and you can find his pre-orders here.
The last of these amazing collectibles for the Mandalorian that you should own there’s none other than replica helmet from EFX Collectibles. This amazing collectible has a price tag of $700 but it is only limited to 750 pieces. The replica Mandalorian helmet is cast from real molds that they use to make the screen-used helmet in the show. It features a screen-accurate paint scheme and hand-painted weathering designs. It is set to ship before Holiday 2019 and you could find them located here. EFX is an amazing company and will give you a great high-quality full-scale 1:1 replica helmet for the Mandalorian that you will cherish throughout your bounty hunting career.
These are all the collectibles that you should lock down now before it’s too late. The success of the show is only going to get hotter and more intense so gather up the collectors you can collectors before the flippers get a hold of them and triple the price. The Mandalorian has been amazing so far and we all can’t wait what happens next.
Funko has dropped an amazing surprise today with some newest releases in their Marvel series. Exclusively going to Amazon we will be getting Marvel Avengers Assemble series. The series will feature all six main characters of the Avengers from the 2014 Avengers film. Being a huge marble bunco fan I am super excited and can’t wait to see the rest of these characters. First up on the chopping block is none other than the man himself Tony Stark a.k.a. Iron Man. These new Funko deluxe figures will solidify that iconic moment from The Avengers where the team circles up and “assembles” for the first time. Each figure will nest perfectly into the next eventually forming a dynamic 12-inch diameter set piece with all six characters. Now, this is a first for Funko and I just can’t wait to see the final result. These figures will feature a new level of detail not captured by the original line of Funko Pops that were originally released back in the day. Each figure is available for individual purchase as they will be announced figures will continue to be announced in made available throughout 2020. I am quite excited about this dynamic 12 inch Funko Avengers set and I can’t wait to add more Marvel Funko Pops to my collection.
The Funko Pop Deluxe Marvel Avengers Assemble Series Iron Man Amazon Exclusive Figure one of six is already online and available for pre-order today. Amazon says that it will be released on January 24, 2020. He is currently priced at $19.99 so in total, we would be spending $120 for the whole set. They will be releasing one new hero every other month. Pre-orders have sold out here and there so make sure you get yours today before it’s too late. I know I already have and I can’t wait to see what the other ones look like.
