Funko Emerald City Comic Con Reveals – Freddy Funko and Crusaderette

It looks like the Emerald City Comic Con reveals are coming to an end as Freddy Funko sends ends the night. This is a very interesting reveal as it is the first Pop Town to get a convention exclusive. I have not bought one of these Pop Towns just yet but they are pretty unique, the Hall of Justice one is amazing. I think my first Pop Town purchase will be My Hero Academia one that is a rumor for the next wave. This time though Freddy Funko is going shopping at Funko HQ in this exclusive. Freddy is holding some well earned Funkos in this set and would be a great piece for any Freddy fan. Next up we are getting the ECCC Mascot the Crusaderette! This is a pretty cool Funko Pop figure and I like her design and she is limited to only 1500 pieces. There will also be a 2-pack pin pack released with both Crusader and Crusaderette that will surely be a Con only release. To top it off you can show off your Crusadette with her own t-shirt as she comes flying in. These will be most likely found only at ECCC so if you’re attending you are the lucky ones. Lastly, it looks like the Loch Ness is making another appearance with a special 1500 LE figure. This will surely go up in value once it’s in the hands of collectors juts like the elusive Green Bigfoot.

Funko Emerald City Comic Con Reveals – Indiana Jones

Indiana Jones is back and not only with a new movie still in the works but with a new Funko Pop that is exclusive to Emerald City Comic Con. Funko has just announced that the famous Archeologist is coming back once again for a special 10” release of the character. This figure will only be 2000 pieces and is a Metallic variant. This is the first 10 inch convention exclusive we have seen and I hope its the last. I am sad that they wasted a perfectly good figure and made it a 10” inch when a normal version would have Grail status. With it being so limited I would expect this to be an ECCC only release and that will be confirmed closer to the conventions start on March 12th.

If you are concerned about getting one for yourself you don’t have to worry too much as Disney Parks will be getting a Non-Metallic 10” version of Indian Jones too. This kind of ruins the rarity of the Emerald City Comic Con version but it is nice to see his return. They are scheduled to release in the Parks February 29th so you don’t have to wait too long for it. I’m sure we will see an abundance of the figure like previous Disney Parks exclusives.

Funko Emerald City Comic Con Reveals – Hanna Barbara and PEZ

Funko is quite known for its Hanna Barbara line as it is one of the first lines made famous by the company. The Flintstones get another addition their line as The Great Gazoo travels across space and time to Emerald City Comic Con. This is a perfect collectible for the conventiona and the fact he is green makes him the right fit. This will be the first Great Gazoo Funko Pop we are getting, unlike the Drobz version that released a couple of years ago. Huckleberry Hound is also making his appearance at teh convention within their new product line Funko Soda. Huckleberry will be green and does feature a purple chase version. These are limited edition to only 3,500 pieces so I would expect a Funko-Shop or ECCC only release. PEZ is also getting it’s own exclusive too and this isn’t surprising as we have seen PEZ convention figures for both San Diego and New York last year. o idea where these Funko Pops will be heading but we do know we will see a list of their location close to Emerald City that starts March 12th.

Funko Emerald City Comic Con Reveals – Pokemon

The Funko Pop exclusive reveals continue as they drop more news about Emerald City Comic Con. This time some of your favorite Pokemon are getting an odd upgrade with two new figures. It looks like Charmander and Bulbasaur are getting some interesting exclusives as they get flocked. I am truly confused by these reveals as neither of these Funko Pop figures needs the flocking treatment. Pikachu and Squirtle have recently got flocked in the recently released GameStop exclusive Pokemon. It makes sense to finish the set as flocked but not necessary at all as neither pocket monster has fur. Emerald City Comic Con is bringing some interesting Funko Pop exclusives into the fold and fans could be torn. They could have easily released a normal size Eevee figure and gave that one the flocked treatment and it would have been fine. It is not certain to where they will be revealed and if I had to guess I would say GameStop since they have already got two or at least Target. Funko Emerald City Comic Con Reveals – Disney and Star Wars

Funko just can’t stop their exclusive trains as they continue the reveals for the upcoming Emerald City Comic Con. This time we are looking at two big franchises with Funko with Disney and Star Wars figures on the horizon. The first one up is a smaller version of a previous 10” Target Exclusive figure. The designer Black Mandalorian is getting a remake but smaller for this ECCC exclusive figure. I kind of will they just released a green version of this design for the Emerald City. The normal version will still fly off shelves as the 10” versions are hardly found in stores anymore or hard to display. As for Disney, it looks like both Sleeping Beauty and Mulan are getting their time to shine. The three fairies are getting a nice three pack and I really enjoy the design of them. Mulan brings Mushu and his Panda disguise alive wit this amazingly detailed Funko Pop. From the size of this figure, I think we might be looking at a 6” Pop. Funko will release a list of all the retailers that will get ECCC shared exclusives so stay tuned here at Bleeding Cool for updates.

Funko ECCC Reveals – “The Office”, “Simpsons” and More!

Emerald City Comic Con Funko Pop exclusive reveals continues as Funko brings some of your favorite TV shows alive. Four figures have been revealed and first up is from the iconic animated yellow family show, The Simpsons. Milhouse is making his Pop debut and he is just as adorable and silly as you would think. Our next ECCC reveal is the one and only Speed Racer, which is a recent series. This time Speed Racer is taking first place with this Funko exclusive figure and it will go perfect with the others in the set. The Office is up next as Dwight Schrute is getting his green thumb in this hilarious exclusive. These Office exclusives are always a blast and remind us of some pure comedy. The last Pop TV reveal is from the hit show Game of Thrones. Fans might still be pissed after the final season that bombed but we can rejoice as the dragons have returned. This time they are babies once again in these hatching egg versions of the dragons that will surely be a nice set for any Game of Thrones fan. Funko ECCC 2020 Reveals – NBA, College Mascots, and Trolls

Funko is still bringing out more reveals for the upcoming Emerald City Comic Con that takes place March 12 – 15, 2020. Two of these reveals are actually green which for the Emerald City and another is flocked. The first one coming out is a flocked mascot from the University of Washington. Following him is Shawn Kemp Funko Pop, who is a green Sonics uniform that is just perfect for this green themed con. So far these are just ok releases for the convention, nothing is really special about these releases. These will most likely get picked up by true fans while the rest just sit them unless they get a nice Limited Edition sticker on it. Our last reveal is a Funko Pop Green Troll. From conventions past, this one is one par with a traditional convention exclusive and I wouldn’t be surprised if it is a con only exclusive. It is still unclear what Funko Pops will be going where but we will get information closer to Emerald City Comic Con with retailer location.
