Dark Nights: Metal Gets a New Funko Pop Exclusive Figure

The Dark Nights: Metal are some of the coolest Batman concepts to come out of the Batman mythos lately. Coming from the comic book arc we got to see the dark multi-verse as a whole variety of new evil versions of Batman arose. We have seen Some collectibles come out featuring is iconic characters however the most recent one is a Hot Topic Exclusive Funko Pop. This time Batman: The Merciless makes his appearance so let’s check him out with this review.

For starters, the box is quite different than other Funko Pop boxes it is featuring the newly used black packaging with the Batman 80th anniversary logo on it. There is gold trim around it that shines and definitely gives a new aspect to the packaging. Three out of four of the Dark Nights: Metal characters I have the style black box and it really suits them. If you don’t know the history this is a Corrupted Batman wearing Ares the God of Wars Helmet after he kills Wonder Woman in a war-torn world.

The character itself seemingly features a metallic style paint. The character is remarkably detailed for it being Popified and fights the comic book portrayal perfectly and I just love it. These smaller versions of these dark nights: Metal evil Batmen characters are all highly detailed and are cheap and great collectibles for fans. The metallic paint is a nice touch and it really makes the armor shine. If you look above the chest you can even see a small Wonder Woman symbol as this is supposed to be the Batman/Wonder Woman combination figure. The little details on Funko Pop’s are what make these little collectibles shine. The price is cheap and you’re getting some collectibles that aren’t made for a wide variety of things.

This is a great figure to release in the 80th Anniversary of Batman and I hope we can see more of these characters released later on. I still have three more Batman Dark Night: Metal characters who still have not got a Funko Pops just yet. Batman crossover versions of Superman, Aquaman and Cyborg are still in the wind and I hope we see then soon. Batman: The Merciless is exclusive to Hot Topic and the other have been exclusives too so I hope they keep that trend. “Stranger Things” Newest Wave of Funko Pop Vinyls Arrive [Review]

Stranger Things Season 3 had its newest wave a Funko Pop’s drop. I was able to finally find both after some quite intensive collectible hunting. So let us take a look at the newest wave of Stranger Things Funko Pops in this review. This is a pretty small wave of Stranger Things Funko Pop’s to drop. I would mainly say that this is a mini wave and only for spoilers of the show. A lot of the time, Funko only makes the first wave of Pop vinyl from what we see in the trailer. We are finally able to get our hands on the newest wave of Stranger Things Funko figures with Alexei and Robin.

 

Alexie is a new fan favorite of the Stranger Things Season 3 and I’m glad that they turned him into his own collectible. The box is pretty simple with the normal Popified version of the character on the front and side with the newest wave of figures on the back. Alexei himself is pretty nice with his Icee in hand. He was honestly quite hard to find, most stores I went to sold out within the hour after opening. Test your luck and try to find him yourself, he would have been a perfect character to be made exclusive.

Next, we have everyone’s favorite Scoops Ahoy employee Robin. This isn’t the first Robin Funko Pop figure to come out, as the first one came out last summer during a Funko Fundays in the special Steve and Robin 1800 limited edition attendee giveaway. So fans can now rejoice as she gets her own very first Stranger Things Season 3 common released figure. The box for her is also quite simple with her picture on the front, side and the newest wave of Stranger Things Pops on the back.

This figure is mainly used as a meme now so I’m not surprised Funko decide to make a Pop of her in this position. We get to see her holding the sign that says “You rule, You suck ” with the tally going to suck. This is making fun of Steve Harrington’s bad luck streak at Scoops Ahoy. The outfit is quite nice and I love the design that they put into the Scoops white outfit. I wish there was a lot more marketing done for the Scoops Ahoy franchise. We did get that cool Baskin Robbins ice cream exclusive Steve Funko figure through it though.

If you’re a fan of Stranger Things or fans of Alexei and Rob then these are two must have Funko Pop figures for you. They are selling out fast at most retailers but you should be able to find them available online and located here. I’m sure this is not the last set of Stranger Things figures we will see and only time will tell what characters are made next.

All Might Is Victorious with New BoxLunch Funko Pop [Review]

All Might has made his way back into our hearts as My Hero Academia makes its way through its fourth season. We have seen some great collectibles to come out from the series and as of lately Funko is really taking the cake this year. With a new great wave of Funko Pop Vinyls, we have seen three new All Might figures come out. Now we can add a fourth to the list as BoxLunch got a special glow in the dark Weakened All Might Pop figure from the aftermath of the All for One battle. So let’s dive into the figure and see if it’s worth your collectibles shelf with this review.

Right off the bat, the box is quite similar to the rest of the series. Pictures of the characters are on the front and the side, with the new wave of characters on the back. The BoxLunch sticker does tell us that this will be a glow in the dark figure too.

Now onto All Might! We have seen a weakened version of him before but he was in his civilian clothes. This time he is also showing signs of All for One as his power slowly drains away. This All Might is seemingly from the battle against One for All in My Hero Academia Season 3. The paint on this Pop figure is quite amazing as you can see all the little details on him. I do like how they gave his a strengthened arm as he did in the show.

The Funko team must have some fans on their side to give us a great figure like this. They really put a lot of detail into this figure to give us a faithful tribute to the one and only All Might. The Glow in the Dark feature is a nice touch too. All Might’s eyes, hair, and teeth all glow pretty brightly too. His eyes glow blue, his teeth glow white, and his hair glows orange/ yellow. The pictures do not give the glow any justice either, unlike of Funko Pops that glow this one is one stay lite for awhile.

The BoxLunch Exclusive Glow in the Dark All Might Figure is a perfect exclusive figure for a retailer to get. It is a must have Funko Pop Vinyl for any fan of My Hero Academia and would make a great addition to any collectors collection. They are currently out of stock on the BoxLunch website but they restock quite often or try your unluck in stores.
