Welcome to the latest edition of BC Toy Spotting! We are in and out of stores pretty much every day, and we figure (ha!) why not show all of our fellow collectors what we are coming across on pegs and shelves. As collectors, we know that staying on top of what is in stores can be almost a full time job, so we are here to help you with your toy hunts and outings. This week we found tons of new Funko, Star Wars, NECA, WWE, and some sweet finds at Five Below! Let’s take a look.
Starting with Funko, WWE fans will want to hit up their Gamestops to see if they can find the Ronda Rousey Pop. FYE has Suicide Squad Joker Funk-O’s cereal, and BoxLunch has FLCL, Fullmetal Alchemist, and the newest wave of Black Panther Pops. Also at Gamestop are new Rocky and Bulwinkle, Riverdale, and Mickey Mouse 90th anniversary Pops.
For those of you looking for some quick gifts and stocking stuffers for figure collectors should take a stroll through Five Below. Star Wars Black Series, WWE Retro figures, Zombies, and even Super7’s awesome M.U.S.C.L.E. sets. There is Transformers, Galactic Heroes for the little Star Wars fan in your life, and DC Superhero Girls figures. So much stuff and very affordable. YMMV for selection.
New Star Wars concept art Hot Wheels ships are hitting shelves, as are new NECA Predator two-packs and Pickle Rick figures. Harry Potter fans will want to check comic shops for the new Figuarts figure, while Gamestops have new anime statues and figures from Boruto, DragonBall, and Assassin’s Creed. Hot Topics the new Pennywise Funko plush, and Walmarts have begun to receive new figures from the Netflix series Super Monsters.
The first LEGO sets from the LEGO Movie 2 have begun to leak out. I found these at Walmart in a giant display, and by the next day they were all gone.
Transformers BotBots and Star Wars Mega Force are in bins at Walmart near the toy section. These are great stocking stuffers, as do the new Galaxy of Adventure figures.
Fortnite Monopoly and loot boxes are everywhere, along with the McFarlane and Jazzwares figures.
Venom fans can find the new Disney Store exclusive Marvel Select figure in stores and online now. Kinda cool: stop by Walmart and pick up a Kenner-inspired Venom figure that comes with a digital copy of the film as well. These will also be packaged together with the Blu-ray this Tuesday, but without the numbered packaging.
And finally for this week, the new Lynda Carter Wonder Woman DC Multiverse figure is now hitting Gamestops.
