Back From D23? Make Some Cash You Spent Back On Exclusives!

So, you went to D23, made a lifetime of memories, waited in the massive lines, saw the Avengers: Infinity War trailer (jealous!), and a great time was had by all. You may have even stood in line and picked up some exclusives available in the stores or a poster for attending a panel. And now that you are back, you noticed that you spent more than you meant to, or made an impulsive purchase you didn’t mean to make. You may be able to make some of it back!

There were tons of exclusives and other items for sale or given away at the con, and we are going to take a look at some of them and see if you’re sitting on something to see a big return on. Everything here has at least one confirmed sale on eBay at that price, not just some person throwing something up at a ridiculous price.

D23 Build A Droid R5-D23 Figure Exclusive D23 Star Tours Exclusive Shirt D23 Star Wars Battlefront 2 Exclusive Poster

Star Wars will always be huge at these things, and D23 was no different. Their line of exclusives that dealt with Star Tours had everything from art prints to pins, but one of the things Star Wars fans always go for are the t-shirts. This particular shirt was only sold at the con, and is selling for $40. The Battlefront II poster that was given out to attendees at the Disney Video Games panel is selling for $25 on average, and finally, the ever-popular Build A Droid series got an R5 unit with the exclusive R5-D23 droid, complete with Mickey’s Sorcerer Hat. That one has routinely been selling for $25, but it will more than likely go up.

D23 Tsum Tsum Set D23 Designer Doll Snow White D23 Disney Designer Doll Witch Exclusive

Collectibles are always hot items, too, and Tsum Tsums are more popular than ever. That set of Mary Poppins ones up there has multiple sales at $90. The Disney Designer Dolls are more on the high-end of things, and the prices reflect that. Snow White was limited to 1023 pieces, and sells for about $365. The Witch was even more limited at 723 total pieces, and sells for about $360.

D23 Moana Gold Edition Coffee Mug Exclusive D23 Kingdom Hearts 3 Exclusive Panel Poster

Yes, even coffee mugs jump up in price when they are not only exclusive, but gorgeous like this one. This Moana mug is selling for $55. The Kingdom Hearts poster was another giveaway given to attendees at the Disney Video Games panel. This one is for one of the most anticipated games of all time, and is going for between $30 all the way up to $50.

D23 Bambi Anniversary Pin Set D23 Cheshire Cat Pin Exclusive D23 Oliver and Company Pin

Pins, pins, and more pins. D23 had SO MANY PINS. This is but a fraction of them, but the dollar amounts they were going for were pretty nuts, so I thought I would point these out. Most pins at minimum are going for about $8 or so over retail, but things like the Bambi anniversary set are going for $100. The cat pins? Cheshire Cat is hitting $110 and Oliver is up to $125. Both of those were limited to 300.

Funko D23 Dorbz Han Solo On Taun Taun Star Wars Funko D23 Dorbz Star Wars Cantina Pack Funko D23 Dorbz Guardians of the Galaxy 2-Packs

Funko didn’t have a proper booth at D23, but they were represented at the show in the store. All of their exclusives were Dorbz. The Han Solo on Taun Taun is pretty neat, and that one is hovering around $90. The Cantina pack based on the vintage Kenner figure designs is not only awesome, but it is now up to $70. That one I can see going higher, as vintage Star Wars collectors will want to snap this up. Finally, we have two different Guardians of the Galaxy two-packs. Each one is going for $30 or so, with both together fetching up to $80.

D23 Sorcerer's Package Exclusive Marvel Coin d23-marvel-posters-thor-ragnarak_720 d23-marvel-posters-black-panther_720

Marvel was also well represented, with their booth always being one of the most crowded and coolest booths, no matter which con they’re at. That coin up above was exclusive to people who bought a Sorcerer’s Package to the show, so there are not many of them. That’s hitting $55. The giveaway posters from the Marvel booths are always some of the most popular, and the Thor: Ragnarok and Black Panther ones are no different, selling for around $60 and $30 respectively, if unsigned. If you were lucky enough to be at the booth and got one signed, the Black Panther ones signed by Chadwick Boseman and Ryan Coogler are hitting $200 or more, and the Thor signed by Andy Park hitting $75 and up.

The big daddy of all, however is the Avengers: Infinity War poster given out Saturday and Sunday. The smaller, regular edition is hitting $40, and is awesome. I want one very badly. However, if you were fortunate enough to be at the Marvel booth not long after the Live Action panel when Josh Brolin was signing the larger version, that one is selling for upwards of $455. So if you got one, and aren’t too attached to it, you may want to let that one go.

There you have it. There are hundreds more not here, but these are some of the hotter items that stood out. Sell them if you want, and hey, maybe if you are heading to SDCC this week, you can use the money from selling these to get stuff there!
