Funko is continuing to increase its Pop Music line up with its newest Pop Vinyl, Shawn Mendes. The best part of the Pop Music line is you don't have to be a fan of Funko Pops to get behind them. It gives music fans can add a little extra flavor to their office space or home with these collectibles. This time There's Nothing Holding Me Back from getting this Shawn Mendes Pop for my own Funko Pop collection. I love all the little details that they added to this figure from his tattoos to the design of the guitar. You can tell that Funko is getting better and better at the little things with these vinyl figures and I really appreciate that. In all honestly, the modern age of music is another untouched market for collectibles from new modern pop artists like Charlie Puth and Camilla Cabello. You could really bring in the modern generations into the world of collectibles and hell have Mercy on my collection when this happens.
Pre-orders for the Shawn Mendes Funko Pop are already live and you won't have to get Lost in Japan to find him as links are located here. I can feel it In My Blood that more musicians will be coming out of the woodwork sooner or later and this is one figure fans will not want to miss.

Funko just had their Emerald City Comic Con convention replacement, the Funko Virtual Con. The event was a success and of course, there were exclusive figures. There were both convention and shared exclusives that fans were dying to get their hands on. So we here at Bleeding Cool have picked out our top 5 Funko Pops to come out of the convention. We will be covering both shared exclusive figures that fans can still get in stores and some of the sold out convention only Pops too.
The Gelatinous Cube is first on our list as it a unique design for all fans. We actually did a review of the figure and you can find that here. It's a great Funko Pop for this green themed convention. It comes in a slightly bigger box but the figure itself is something unique and special that anyDungeons & Dragonsfans should defiantly own. Next up is the severed armed Thanos! This was another figure already got our hands on and you can find that review here. Thanos fromAvengers: Endgame is something unique that Funko brought to the table that any Marvel fan should add. It does give us a new style of mold for Thanos and even has an arm that can be attached and detached which is pretty awesome. You can find him online still and located here.
Slime He-Man was another one of our favorite figures that Funko released for ECCC. It stays true to the Emerald City green colored theme and brings a fan favorite variant figure to life. This glow in the dark figure is perfect for any Masters of the Universefans old and new. These were also shared with GameStops and should be still available and also here.

Funko Soda is a new collectible that Funko has brought to markets. We have already done a couple reviews on them already and we even have found a Chase already! ECCC brought us four new Funko Soda figures that are convention exclusives. We got a Green Batman, Green Huckleberry Hound, and two special Scott Pilgrim Sodas. Each one has the ability to obtain a chase variant which only makes it more special. The Scott Pilgrim figures are still up on Funko Shop and you can find them here.

Our last Emerald City Comic Con exclusive figures that are on your list is the Funko HQ POP Town. The Pop Town isn't fairly new but there isn't a lot of there at the moment. Funko dropped a special one as a convention exclusive that features the amazing HQ. Freddy Funko with some shopping bags is also included and makes a great exclusive figure for a great store. These have already sold out across the board but you might be able to find them from their markets for a little higher price than normal.

Every convention has its ups and downs and this time we really saw some A-game material. From a lot of green variants to a nice set of unique figures, this con was a nice addition to any fans hunt.
Emerald City Comic Con was sadly postponed but Funko still gave fans the experience they wanted. With their first ever Virtual Con we got to see all the exclusives, convention and shared, get released in one place at one time. One of the ones on our list was the new Thanos Funko Pop and boy was he worth it! This was also a shared exclusive to GameStop and was also available on the Funko Shop. As a Marvel Cinematic Universe Pop completionist, this was one figure I needed to own. Well, let's dive right into our next Funko POP Review.
The box is pretty standard with the other Avengers: Endgame Funko Pops. The only this time really makes this Thanos box stand out from the rest is the green shared exclusive sticker on the window. It was odd that the sticker was more in the center of the box than the corner but this is due to the severed arm placement.
I honestly was pretty excited another MCU Funko Pop was on the way. However, I wasn't that excited about the figure but that all changed when I got Thanos is my hands. This figure I badass in more ways than one. First off, this is the first Funko POP to feature a removable piece that can enhance the figure. Thanos is placed on his knee with the burnt aftermath of using the stones. The design and sculpt of his burnt skin and crushed gauntlet are pretty amazing. It wasn't until I saw the design up close that I really fell in love with it. The removable arm is a nice touch and fits the scene just right as Thor slices off the gauntlet to try to change the future. Nice farmer clothes and Burt face really make Thanos his own unique collectible and Funko did just right by it.
This is a great addition to the Endgame Funko POP line. It was well worth entering the line up as a convention exclusive. If you would love to have one of your own they are still live on Funko Shop here or you can find him at GameStop here.

Funko Soda is finally upon us and it's a great new collectible to get fans back into the game. We have already opened 4 cans so far with the first two being Crusader Rabbit and Green Hornet, which you can find here. We then opened Frankenberry and Fred Flintstone soda cans which you can find here. This time we got another can that went live on Hot Topic online but sold out pretty fast. This is, of course, our favorite Boy Wonder, Robin! This figure is limited to only 7,500 pieces with 1,200 of them being Chase variants. One of the best things about Funko's new Funko Soda is the fact that they are all limited edition and they all have a chance at a Chase variant. So let's not wait for any further and dive right into this review/ unboxing of the Robin Funko Soda.
I love the packaging for all of these figures and the soda aspect is just awesome touch. Each can usually show colors based on the vinyl figure inside so of course yellow and green collar are all over this can. These study packages are nice to show off as backdrops for your figures and look great on a shelf.
This time we are all seeing the unboxing together as I type. Inside the can we see the black nylon bag that each figure comes in. It only makes it more intense because you are just curious about your find. Each figure also comes in these bags and are even covered in bubble wrap for better protection. Inside the can, there is also the pog that showcases if we got a Chase or not. As we look into the Funko Soda can we are greeted with a smiling Robin looking back at us. The color does seem off though so I gotta shake the can to flip over the pog. BOOM! Wow, it looks like we have actually struck gold and found the Golden Robin Chase variant!
I am honestly quite surprised we actually got a chase with just a limited run of this figure. This is a great Chase and it goes well with the Batman Chase which is also golden. The design of this vinyl is pretty adorable and fits the Funko Soda line just fine. It's hard to compare the Chase to the normal since we have nothing to compare it to the solid shining gold on this Robin. It's still a nice figure that will easily pop in any Funko Soda collection.
Funko really has given us something special with their Funko Soda line. Each can is a surprise and if you can get your hands on one you already have something pretty limited. We were finally lucky enough to hit gold this time and that only makes me want to try my luck at more. You can find your own Funko Soda online and here!
Baby Yoda. The Child. Whatever name you want to use, merch of the instant fan-favorite character from the Disney+ Star Wars show The Mandalorian has been highly anticipated. Most of the figures and plushes have sold out on preorder, and with the Coronavirus wreaking havoc across the globe, who knows when we will be able to get our hands on most of it. Funko has even said the Baby Yoda is their highest selling POP of all-time, before it even shipped to stores. Luckily for fans, that day is today. Some Hot Topics and other e-tailers have received their supply, and we got our hands on one. So, let's look at the Baby Yoda POP, and see why it is one of the better ones ever made.
Right away, this one feels different for being housed in a sideways box. Funko has done these before, most notably for Sexy Jeff Goldblum. For in box collectors, Baby Yoda will test your patience, as it won't look uniform on your display. Unlike other POPS though, because of the sideways packaging, the window box shows off the entire figure. It makes it feel special, which he is.
Look at him out of the box! The giant ears, the giant, high collar. The tiny arms sticking out. And those big eyes! This is a perfect figure of Baby Yoda. Striking his little Force pose, when I held it the first time, I couldn't stop staring at it. Even better is that the paint job on this one is perfect.
Yes, this is a must-own. The hype is real people. As stated, Hot Topic stores are receiving limited quantities right now, and online preorders are shipping. Be on the lookout!
