COMING SOON: POP! PEZ – CORALINE
“Be careful what you wish for…”
Welcome to the Other World, a magnificent space infinitely more exciting (and dangerous) than reality. If you’re going to travel there, you’ll need a guide – or several. Bring home the titular character of LAIKA’s beautiful stop-motion animated tale as a Pop! PEZ figure with Chase.
Coming Soon!
Funko Pop DC Heroes figures are always going. It’s also one of my favorite lines out there. The thing that makes them different from most of the other lines is that there are not full sets. Most of these figures are standalone characters and I love it! Like DC Heroes figures Lobo, Plastic Man, and Poison Ivy, they all make each character unique and almost special. Funko is doing it again with a Batwoman Funko Pop that will be a Previews Exclusive! This is a great figure to come out to help you celebrate the new CW TV show coming in October. Now onto the BIGGER news… Funko has unveiled its newest Batman Funko Pop who stands 19 INCHES TALL! This is a massive figure to get released in the line and it held the record of the biggest Pop figure since the runner ups are set at 10”. This is a unique idea and I hope it stays with just this. We don’t need a whole new wave of 19” pops but seeing this change makes me want to swoop on down and get one for myself.
Batwoman is going to be a PX Exclusive local comic shops will help you out here or she is located here and priced at $13. Batman 19” doesn’t seem to be an Exclusive (yet) so preorders are live, and he is priced at $100! Little pricey for the usual pop, even the 10” are priced at $30 so this is a big jump for a bigger Funko POP.
“I am the night, I am Batman”
Coming soon! A PREVIEWS Exclusive! Straight from the pages of DC Comics, Katherine Kane is a wealthy heiress by day, but by night becomes the caped vigilante Batwoman! Now, Batwoman is given a fun and funky stylized look as a collectible Pop! vinyl figure from Funko. Featured here in her red and black costume and holding a batarang, the DC Heroes Batwoman Pop! measures about 3 3/4″ tall and comes in a collector-friendly window box, perfect for display! Be sure to add this PREVIEWS Exclusive Batwoman figure to your Funko Bat-family!
Coming Soon: Pop! Heroes—DC—19” Batman
The Dark Knight is celebrating his 80th anniversary and all of Gotham City is celebrating its favorite Super Hero. DC first introduced Batman in Detective Comics #27 in 1939. Since then, Batman has appeared in countless comics, television episodes and movies battled epic Super-Villains and become a cornerstone of pop culture. Celebrate 80 years of the Dark Knight with a 19” Pop! Batman.

Kotobukiya is joining the dark side of the force and jumping on into the Sith Trooper reveals. The Sith Trooper is making their rounds this week, with what almost seems like a press tour of promotional material for Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker. We have already seen the Hot Toys figure, which dropped over the weekend, the Funko Pop Sith Trooper, that dropped at SDCC and lastly, the newest addition with the Sith Trooper being added to Hasbro’s Black Series line. This figure style is still pretty badass, the all fire red outfit with the stylized armor is unique than any other Stormtrooper. This ArtFx+ statue by Kotobukiya is defiantly a treat, as you get two figure statues. One is standing with a blaster as the other one is ready for action with a nice stylish heavy blaster with a stand. These would look great inside any Star Wars fans collection, it would go nicely with any of the other Stormtrooper ArtFx+ statues that Kotobukiya offers.
This Sith Trooper ArtFx+ Statue by Kotobukiya is priced at $129.99 and pre-orders are live are located here. They are set up for a release date is December 2019 so they will arrive hopefully just in time for Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker which arrives in theaters December 20th.

When you have a cartoon series that lasted in pop culture as long as Scooby-Doo, Where Are You? has, you have to go big on the anniversaries. Warner Bros. Home Entertainment decided to go big for the latest anniversary to the classic cartoon series with a special edition Blu-ray. The official title of this thing is Scooby-Doo Where Are You?: The Complete Series Limited Edition 50th Anniversary Mystery Mansion. Yes, that is the real super-extended name of this collection, which we received a copy of and were excited to pop in and watch.
Going over the box first, let’s just take in the moment that they made this look like a spooky mansion with all of the gang in every window. This is an awesome little box set that makes it worth putting on display and showing off to people who know what’s up. The box is basically a thicker cardboard than your usual boxes like this, and the top just slides off. There’s no real lock to snap to this, its a cardboard box that’s meant to be this way for easy access.
Inside you get a couple of goodies, starting with this Scooby-Doo pocket keychain from Funko. This was a cute item to get as we see Scoob looking at us with those vinyl eyes and his tongue sticking out, waiting for the next Scooby Snack to come his way.
Next up is the Scooby-Doo Encyclopedia. This is a fun little flip book about the same size as the Blu-ray discs that have fun facts about the show. It’s mostly fictional stuff, as you can see from the picture below of the Mystery Machine, it shows you everything inside you never knew it had. This is filled with gags, inside references, and a bunch of old-school Hanna-Barbera humor. A cute little item to have with the set.
As for the Blu-ray itself, you’re getting all of the original episodes over four discs. Each one cleaned up and formatted for HD with improved audio and the best quality visuals you can give a 50-year-old cartoon series. And just in case you’re not in the mood to pop in a disc, they’re all available digitally with a special code to download all the episodes and watch them whenever in the same quality. The set also comes with some featurettes from previous releases like how to draw the characters, a music video, taking the Scooby-Doo challenge, and more. But there are four entirely new featurettes added which include a bio on Frank Welker, a look at the character and his evolution over the years, a look at the live stage production being made right now, and a narrative history of the cultural impact of the show.
Overall, I really enjoyed adding Scooby-Doo Where Are You?: The Complete Series Limited Edition 50th Anniversary Mystery Mansion to my collection. Like a lot of you reading this, I grew up watching the show, whether it be in syndication on some random channel or part of Cartoon Network’s mainstay lineup for years, or part of Boomerang’s for years, or random clips on YouTube you show kids to get them into watching the show. It is a strange and wonderful iconic cartoon that rightfully deserves a collection like this. The only thing that would have made it better would have been a box of Scooby Snacks to go with it. I highly recommend it for everyone to watch alone, with friends, with their special someone, and with their kids. Over and over until the music from the show is burned into your memories for life.
