Zachary Levi’s Shazam! Gets a Gallery Statue From Diamond Select

Shazam! hits theaters in April, and collectibles are starting to pop up based on Billy Batson’s big screen debut. One such collectible is a new Gallery statue from Diamond Select Toys. This entry into their popular and growing line of affordable statues features a likeness of star Zachary Levi, with lightning effect coming out of his chest. It will stand at 9 inches tall. Preorders for this one will open up on Friday, January 25th. Your favorite local comic shop or online retailer should have the link to get one then. Check out the statue below.

They released a new sneak peak at the film yesterday, here that is in case you missed it:

David F. Sandberg (“Annabelle: Creation”) directs New Line Cinema’s “Shazam!,” the origin story that stars Zachary Levi (TV’s “Chuck”) as the titular DC Super Hero, along with Asher Angel (TV’s “Andi Mack”) as Billy Batson, and Mark Strong (the “Kingsman” movies) in the role of Super-Villain Dr. Thaddeus Sivana. Peter Safran (“Aquaman,” “The Conjuring” and “Annabelle” films) serves as the film’s producer.

We all have a superhero inside us, it just takes a bit of magic to bring it out. In Billy Batson’s (Angel) case, by shouting out one word—SHAZAM!—this streetwise 14-year-old foster kid can turn into the adult Super Hero Shazam (Levi), courtesy of an ancient wizard. Still a kid at heart—inside a ripped, godlike body—Shazam revels in this adult version of himself by doing what any teen would do with superpowers: have fun with them! Can he fly? Does he have X-ray vision? Can he shoot lightning out of his hands? Can he skip his social studies test? Shazam sets out to test the limits of his abilities with the joyful recklessness of a child. But he’ll need to master these powers quickly in order to fight the deadly forces of evil controlled by Dr. Thaddeus Sivana (Strong).

Funko Round-Up: London Toy Fair Reveals!

Funko announces tons of new products and licenses every day, let alone every week. It can be a lot to keep up with. So we are here to help. Welcome to the Funko Round-Up! In this edition: we go over all of today’s London Toy Fair reveals! Tons of gaming, anime, Batman, Disney, musicians, Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, Game of Thrones, and so much more were revealed, and this round-up has it all! Let’s dig in!

Gaming and video game Pops announced include the first Warhammer 40K figures, Persona 5, a new wave of Overwatch Pops, and more Gears of War.

New Footballer Pops were announced, as that line has taken off like a rocket.

Two new animation waves featuring Spongebob Squarepants and Scooby-Doo are on the way, including a Target exclusive 10-inch Spongebob.

Disney fans will have many new products to add to their shelves, including Little Mermaid, Incredibles, Hercules, and Dumbo plush, 5 Star, and Funko Pops coming this year. Even a Toy Story Vyn two pack of Woody and Buzz is coming soon.

On the movie and TV side of things, new Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, Office Space, first Pops for the classic show Bewitched, and director J.J. Abrams are coming soon.

To help celebrate the final season of Game of Thrones, Funko has even more product coming in the spring. The Pops on the Iron Throne are particularly awesome looking.

Anime fans have another wave of Dragon Ball Z Pops to track down, while the first Aggretsuko Pops will be hitting stores soon.

The DC Primal Age figures have begun to hit Target stores, and the second wave of figures was shown off. Bizarro looks incredible. Also revealed were a ton of Pops celebrating 80 years of the Batman.

A new wave of UFC Pops will be coming soon, featuring another Conor McGregor, Georges St-Pierre, and Khabib Nurmagomedov in his trademark hat.

Funko becomes emotionally compromised by a new Morrissey Pop figure.

BC Toy Spotting: NECA, Masters of the Universe, Marvel Legends, Godzilla, and More!

Welcome to the latest edition of BC Toy Spotting! We are in and out of stores pretty much every day, and we figure (ha!) why not show all of our fellow collectors what we are coming across on pegs and shelves. As collectors, we know that staying on top of what is in stores can be almost a full time job, so we are here to help you with your toy hunts and outings. This week we found new Marvel Legends, new Star Wars, more new Funko of course, some Godzilla in an unexpected place, more new Predator figures at Target, and more! Let’s take a look.

The new wave of Spider-Man Marvel Legends is hitting in full force right now. Gamestop this week had Night Thrasher, Puma, Black Cat, Black Suit Spidey, and Silver Sable. They are still getting in the Black Panther wave currently as well.

Funko findings this week include the new Scrubs Pops, Billy Idol and Angus Young Pops, Felix the Cat. Two new Captain Marvel Pops: Carol on a motorcycle and the Hot Topic exclusive in her bomber jacket. Kingdom Hearts fans can pick up a new Mystery Box at Gamestop as well.

The single pack figures from Star Wars Resistance are hitting both Walmart and Target right now. These are 5 POA figures, featuring great sculpts and two new troopers for people to pick up.

NECA shipped more product to stores this week. Michael Myers is still showing up, so don’t give up hope if you haven’t found it. The arcade wave of Alien Vs Predator figures is also showing up in Targets as well, with Mad Predator being the standout at first glance.

Walmarts are getting stock of the Studio Series of Transformers figures. The Jazz is a pretty great one if you can track it down, as is this version of Bumblebee.

Surprising find at Walmart this week: Godzilla figures! Bandai’s line of figures feature great sculpts and work really well as diorama and display pieces.

Finally this week, among the Marvel Legends, Transformers, and Funko Pops, the Masters of the Universe Mega Construx Wing Raider Attack vehicle is hitting Walmarts. This is a vastly underrated line of toys, and this vehicle looks incredible. Look for a review of this one this week.
