Funko has finally announced the upcoming Target exclusive Marvel Black Light Series Pops. These Pops have been rumored for quite some time with the occasion leak here and there. So finally Funko has officially unveiled this new series as well as all of the other goodies coming to that include: shirts, hats, backpacks, and more. All of these figures are stated to release tomorrow June 21, 2020. To start things off we are checking out the Funko clothing items that will be coinciding with the Pops release. There will be two hats, one is a black light Iron Man and the other is a black light coloring of the Amazing Spider-Man logo. There are also socks coming out that feature Marvel heroes Thor, Spidey, and Iron Man all in colorful designs. There will also be four special Black Light Series cups featuring these characters as well as black light Captain America. Something new that will also be dropping in this Funko Marvel Black Light Series is three backpacks. Each one features a special black light design and they are an upside-down Spider-Man, Cosmic Iron Man, and another featuring four characters in comic panel themed designs. The montage comic book backpack design is also the same the one of the upcoming Pop Tees. We will also be seeing a Pop and Tee bundle featuring your favorite web-slinging hero. This will be the only way to get the Funko Marvel Black Light Amazing Spider-Man Pop as he is not getting a solo release. The other four Marvel characters that are getting released are Captain America, Iron Man, Thor, and Doctor Strange. Each one is brightly colored and features a new black Funko Pop box design.
This is a very interesting wave of Marvel Funko Pops. Their groovy look will pull in plenty of collectors in to have them fill out their collections. I wonder if this will be a one hit wonders or if we will we continue to see more Marvel heroes get the Funko Black Light series treatment. I like how it's more than just Funko Pops as there are posters, backpacks, hats, and shirts releasing side by side with these Pops. All of these Funko Marvel Black Light Series Pops is set to hit Target stores tomorrow June 20, 2020. If they are not arriving expect a drop this week at your local Target stores. There will most likely be an online release too which will be located here and they will probably drop random tomorrow or it'll be around 9 am EST. What Marvel characters deserve the black light treatment next?
Mickey Mouse is a Disney icon that everyone knows. He has impacted so many people over the years and has created fans throughout the generations. Funko has unveiled a very special Mickey Mouse Funko Pop that commentates him throughout the years. This Exclusive 5-pack shows off 5 different Mickey Mouses all displayed on one single platform. Each Mickey shows off a popular version of the character. Each Funko Mouse is posed as if they are drawing the next Mickey in line which is a very cute portrayal. The first Mickey Mouse is the iconic Steamboat Willie who is drawing in the first colored Classic Mickey. We then get a Sorcerer Mickey who is drawing in the fairy tale, Beanstalk Mickey. Finally, it all leads to the modern Mickey Mouse standing proudly at the end of the 5-Pack. All of these figures are very well sculpted and the whole group on display will be a great collectible piece for any Disney fan.
This is a very creative Funko POP set that any fan can get behind. I am a huge fan of how each Mickey Mouse connects as they draw the next one in line. This is a very cute way to incorporate all the generations of the Disney Icon in one set collectible. The Amazon Exclusive Disney Archives Mickey Mouse 5-Pack Funko Pop will be priced at $49.99. Hit collectibles company's Funko and Good Smile Company have locked down a multi year deal. This deal is with video game company Ubisoft as they try to extend their content into the collectibles world. The deal gives licenses of some of their hit games Assassin's Creed and Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege to allow new collectibles to be made. For Funko, fans can expect to see the whole line up of Rainbow Six Operators get pop-ified in the near future. This deal also includes the development of Funko Pop Tees featuring some of these franchise characters. We have already seen a couple Assassin's Creed Funko Pops in the past but now it looks like we could see some of the games newer protagonists enter from games like Assassin's Creed: Origins and the upcoming Assassin's Creed: Valhalla. It will be nice to see newly updated Pop molds for some of these new characters and maybe some old remakes. I am more excited to get some Rainbow Six Siege collectibles that will bring some of our favorite Operators to life. These upcoming collectibles will from Funko will start to come out instore and online in early 2021.
Good Smile Company also haze secures a deal with Ubisoft too. Good Smile Company has both Nendoroid and figma designs in mind with this new deal. Both of these designs already be amazing as Good Smile Company really has its collectibles game on point. The figma Assassin Creed figures will be something else and I hope we can see some new ones from Assassin's Creed: Black Flag and maybe an Altair. The Nendoroid line is perfect for Rainbow Six Siege and it'll be nice to see some classic operators like Ash, IQ, and Doc. It will be exciting to see what both of these companies have planned for these licenses. Both know what they are doing so fans of these series should get very excited to see what is just around the corner. Just check out all of the new line up of Rainbow Six Siege Operators that could be getting collectibles here.

Kotobukiya is at it again with another gender swapped redesigned statue of another classic horror icon. This one is a massacre as we are traveling to Texas to see the one and only Leatherface. The Texas Chainsaw Massacre slasher is back and she is ready to play a little rough. Kotobukiya has recently shown off their next addition to their highly popular and seductive Horror Bishoujo line. The statue completely redesigns the killer Leatherface as a female in a very skimpy outfit. She will be carrying a bloody chainsaw and she will also be covered in blood too. It looks like as an added bonus, collectors will be also getting a removable skin mask accessory for her. This adds a whole new terrifying ingredient to this horror statue and any Leatherface and Texas Chainsaw Massacre fan will love to add this piece to their collection.
The Horror Bishoujo Kotobukiya is a truly unique statue series. The gender swapped aspect is a very interesting touch that makes these collectibles stand out. The detail and design on these pieces are pretty amazing even if it shows the curves you never wanted to see of Leatherface. I would love to see a blood splattered version of this statue and they could even limit the same way Funko use to do their bloody variants. The Texas Chainsaw Massacre Leatherface Horror Bishoujo Statue from Kotobukiya will be located here when she finally goes live. Don't forget to check out some of the already released Horror Bishoujo statues like Jason, Freddy, and Chucky. Or put in pre-order for the recently announced Pennywise and Beetlejuice before they sell out.
"LEATHERFACE, the cannibalistic butcher with an aptitude for handling a chainsaw is the newest entry in Kotobukiya's HORROR BISHOUJO series. As an added bonus she includes a removable human skin mask accessory!"
The world seems like a terrible and strange place sometimes, but fandom still brings us together. Or at least gives us someone to unite against. These are strange times, but The Daily LITG is becoming a valuable way to quantify just what comic book geek culture is up to in this time of trial. Including a leaked letter from Eric Stephenson to Image Comics creators about DC Comics. Welcome all, to the daily Lying In The Gutters, a long-running run around the day before and the day ahead. Eric Stephenson Talks Jim Lee, Obliquely – Daily LITG 13th June 2020.
Eric Stephenson and the ten most-read stories yesterday
It must be said that Image Comics publisher Eric Stephenson's written assault against DC Comics, leaked to Bleeding Cool yesterday and followed up everywhere must have been particularly hard for DC publisher Jim Lee, co-founder of Image Comics, to read. And was probably the true intended audience. Here's what else people were reading yesterday.
There would also have been signings, appearances, symposia, all manner of comic book-related events. But a few have gone online, and here are some still happening today, on the Daily LITG.
There may not be much of a party atmosphere right now. All depends on which state you are living in. But comic folk are still getting older and still celebrating that special date. With eleven years for us as well.

Ever since the debut of The Mandalorian on Disney+ fans have been in love with these characters. The introduction of this mysterious bounty hunter and the Child have created a whole new influx of collectibles. The rush for The Child products was the biggest push since the introduction of the character was kept so much under wraps. The collectibles still continue after all this time but now it's the push for as much Beskar Armor Mandalorian collectibles as possible. Funko has been staying quite up to date with these new characters and mold with a couple of new waves of figures. Just when we thought they were out of ideas it looks like there is a new 10" figure heading our way. This 10" is set as a common release and will show off both The Mandalorian and The Child. He will be holding his little space companion in this Funko Pop while carrying the shine of his new armor. This will be a nice collectible for any fan of the series and the larger details on this figure are just right for any Mandalorian fan.
This is a Funko Pop design that has not even got a normal-sized figure yet. I hope we can see a normal version of this mold in the future though. The new Star Wars The Mandalorian with The Child 10" Funko Pop will be priced at $34.99. He is expected to release in October 2020 and pre-orders are already live and can be found located here. I doubt this will be the last Mandalorian Funko Pop we will see and I'm sure we will also be seeing plenty more of The Child too. What other characters do you think deserve to be added to this figure line in the future?

McFarlane and DC cross paths for their DC Multiverse figure line, in stock now! Grab new Power Rangers Lighting Collection Green Ranger and Putty, Mega Construx Heroes wave 2, a 1/6 scale Jon Snow from Game of Thrones and Mer-Man from Masters of the Universe, new Funko Pop! DC movie characters, and finally, Doom Eternal’s Marauder and Doom figures from McFarlane.
Masters of the Universe fans have something new to look forward to as a Funko reveals their newest Funko Shop exclusive. Skeletor is back and this time he is returning to his iconic Disco Skeletor costume. It has been quite some time that we have seen this costume in Pop form as it was a 2013 San Diego Comic Comic exclusive. That figure was limited for only 480 pieces and is now valued at roughly $1,200. This black hood variant of the iconic Master of the Universe villain will be getting a new pose for this 10" which is similar to the upcoming normal Skeletor figure coming later this year. The new mold and larger size will have more detail than the smaller version and will be quite sought after. Funko was rumored to have lost the Masters of the Universe license awhile back but that is far from the truth with a reveal like this.
I am not that surprised that they went with the disco Skeletor variant. This is a very popular costume and with the recent Funko Soda reveals It was a matter of time before he came back into Pop form. A 10" version is still pretty risky as they are not quite selling out as fast as the normal Pop version. Funko seems to be quite fond of the 10" lately and that is sad as this would be an easy sell out if it was its usual size. Not many 10" figures grab my attention anymore but this one and the supposedly postponed 10" My Hero Academia All Might do. The Masters of the Universe Disco Skeletor 10" Funko Shop Exclusive will be priced at $30. Sales go live today June 10th at 2 pm eastern and you will find him located here. If preparing to snag up this beauty I would be prepared 5 mins before and have those clicking fingers ready, good luck fanatics!

Diamond has beat Funko to the punch with their new SDCC 2020 Exclusive. This time it looks like we are getting a new Funko Comic Book Moment featuring two iconic DC Comics characters. From the 2016 DC Comics Deathstroke comic #16 "Face Off with Red Hood". Deathstroke is here and ready to take on Red Hood in this PX Previews Exclusive. This moment is limited to only 30,000 pieces and shows off both characters running at each other on a rooftop. Red Hood is similar to the same mold we have already seen before. The Deathstroke on the other hand is a mold we have not seen which is sad that we are not getting him in actual Pop form.
The PX Exclusive SDCC 2020 DC Comics Red Hood vs Deathstroke Comic Book Moment is priced at $34.99. The figure is set to come out between July and August 2020. Some pre-orders are already live and you can find them located here. You also be able to find them at your local comic book shop which they can special order them for you. I'm sure this won't be the end of Diamond and their San Diego Comic Con exclusive announcements. So stay tuned here at Bleeding Cool for more SDCC 2020 collectible info and when Funko finally announces all of their exclusives at a later date.
"SDCC 2020 POP! COMIC MOMENTS: DC RED HOOD VS. DEATHSTROKE. Jason Todd. Slade Wilson. One, the disgraced former protege of Batman who lacks Batman's moral code. The other, the world's deadliest assassin, enhanced to use 90% of his brain. From the pages of DC Comics' Deathstroke comes Funko's newest POP! Comic Moments release, depicts their epic battle. This diorama-styled piece features 3 3/4″ tall versions of the Red Hood and Deathstroke with Funko's trademark stylized design as they grapple in a battle that will leave these foes bloody and broken. Add this epic piece of DC Comics history to your collection today! Window box packaging."
New Funko Soda vinyl figures have just been revealed. There will be four new collectible figures headed our featuring some iconic characters. These Sodas are also bigger in production size with one as high as 20,000 pieces. First up is Heath Ledger Joker from The Dark Knight. This figure will be limited to 20,000 pieces and will have the chance of a chase. The chase will feature the Joker in his Bank Robber costume and I wish he was wearing his mask too. Next up is our first Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Funko Soda with sword wielding leader Leonardo. This figure will be limited to only 12,500 pieces and will come with a chase too. This cause will be 1:6 and will feature a glow in the dark variant of the figure. This design matches that Saturday Morning cartoons vibe that really brings this series to life.
Our following Funko Soda reveals are the first Band to get a figure as KISS makes their way to the stage. Gene Simmons aka The Demon is back with a 12,500 limited edition run that will feature a chase variant. Just like Leonardo, this figure will also be glow in the dark with his face paint glowing. The last figure that Funko has revealed is the lovable penguin Chilly Willy. Chilly Willy will be limited to only 10,000 pieces and will also feature a 1:6 chance of a chase. This chase is quite different from a new design showing of fa new color with this Frosty Willy. We have seen Funko Pop designs of the chase and it is a worthy variant for the series. These new figures are all definitely quite interesting to the line. The TMNT line is a great addition to the series as it would join the ranks of other 80s cartoons Masters of the Universe and Thundercats. The cartoony versions of real world individuals are hit or miss. I'm sure dedicated fans of Joker Will make him an easy sell out as well as KISS. I do wish that they did keep these quite limited with maybe the max number being 12,500. I think that was one of the biggest motivations to get this series was the limited quality. Each of these new Funko Soda figures is set to release in September 2020. Pre-orders are already live and they will all be priced at $12.99 and you can find them all located here.
"Your favorite character is joining Funko's Vinyl Soda line! With Chilly Willy, The Demon from KISS, Leonardo from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and DC Comics Heath Ledger Joker coming soon. Each Soda Vinyl Figure measures approximately 4 1/4-inches tall. Packaged inside a collectible soda can, it includes a "POG" shaped collector card. The limited edition item even includes a chase figure to hunt and collect!"
