Deadpool is wacky, crazy and definitely unique and a fan-favorite Marvel anti-hero. His comics usually fly off shelves and he has been quite popular since Ryan Reynolds has taken over the role. If you are a Deadpool collector like myself and you’re looking for a way to spend your money this Black Friday then look no further as I have just the thing for you. It looks like Walmart will be getting not only one 10 inch Pop for Black Friday but five! Each one is different showcasing a different colored costume of Deadpool. First off we are getting normal Deadpool with his thumbs up and a gun in hand. We also are getting another version of that same mold with him in his X-Men outfit with the blue and yellow. That is my favorite coloring to come from the Funko Pops series of Deadpool and with the 10 inches, those colors are just going to POP here. Then we will be getting three different versions of the Deadpool with two swords. The first one is the original black and red normal costume that we have already see a normal size of and the next one being his X-Force black and grey costume. Finally, we will be getting a new coloring of Deadpool with a 10-inch gold-colored Merc with a Mouth 10 inch Funko Pop. 10-inch Funko Pops are definitely the trend this year with a wide variety of them coming out. It’s no surprise to see Wade get this treatment but it’s interesting to see them here only on Black Friday. So Deadpool fans you have something to hunt for this year with the new 10 inch Pop vinyl that is perfect for your collection.
The Funko Pop Deadpool 10 inch Pop Vinyl Figures will all be priced at $25 each. They will release on Black Friday so check your local Walmart. In the Walmart ad, it does say that there will be a minimum of only 12 per store so be on the lookout for that gold Pop vinyl because I feel like he will be the hardest one to find along with the X-Men’s colored figure. Look for the at your local Walmart this Thursday and get ready for Black Friday because these Pops are ready to slice and dice your collection.
Captain Marvel changed the game in Marvel Studios with their first female lead film. The movie, in my opinion, was not too shabby I do wish it was told in a different way to where we could have a bigger connection to the character. Being a fan of her from the comics it was a different take on the character. However, her recent appearance in Avengers: Endgame was something special and I loved everything about it. You can now own that character of Captain Marvel with her new appearance with the new S.H. Figuarts figure. Her head sculpt doesn’t honestly capture the essence of Brie Larson but that is just fine because the costume makes up for it. The red and blue costume is super unique and I am glad that we are getting a figure of it outside of Funko. She will come with fist effects attachments as well as an energy effect that you can attach your body. There are some simple facts I can really change the whole dynamic of your character and I love it. The character looks quite articulated and definitely should be on by any fans of Captain Marvel. Of all the recently announced S.H. Figuarts figures coming from Avengers: Endgame this one takes the cake in my opinion and it should be a great figure for any Captain America or Marvel fans.
The Captain Marvel Avengers: Endgame S.H. Figuarts figure is priced at roughly $71. Captain Marvel is set to release in June 2020, pre-orders for her are you live and you could find them located here. She is listed as a Bandai Web Premium Exclusive so you will only be able to locate her here. Don’t forget to check out the other S.H. Figuarts figures coming soon like Captain America, Iron Man, and Iron Spider.

With production on the second-season of Netflix‘s live-action adaptation of Gerard Way and Gabriel Ba‘s comic book series The Umbrella Academy hurtling along at break-neck speeds, fans have already been introduced some of the new faces that will help – or hinder – the Hargreeves efforts to prevent the end of the world. Ritu Arya (Humans), Yusuf Gatewood (Good Omens), and Marin Ireland (Y: The Last Man) are set to join the successful series’ sophomore year return, which is expected some time in early-to-mid 2020).
Netflix/Funko
Now you would think going back in time to change the course of the Apocalypse (spoilers?) would take up a lot of their time, but the Hargreeves family’s real-life counterparts Ellen Page, Tom Hopper, David Castañeda, Emmy Raver-Lampman, Robert Sheehan, Aidan Gallagher, and Justin Min were able to find some time for a little vinyl appreciation.
But that’s exactly what happened on set, and the moment was shared via Twitter in the form of a “family portrait” of the cast with their tiny counterparts. But since a still image isn’t quite the same as being there, there’s a also a video of the moment – our biggest takeaways from them both?
The team looks like they’re in some kind of “hairy beatnik” mode, and we are not surprised Sheehan’s figure was the only one out of its box.
Here’s a look at the character breakdowns for the most recent additions:
● Arya’s Lila is a chameleon who can be as brilliant or as clinically insane as the situation requires. Unpredictable, mischievous and sarcastic, Lila’s gifted with a twisted sense of humor.
● Gatewood’s Raymond is a born leader with the smarts, gravitas, and the confidence to never have to prove it to anyone. He is warm, dedicated and has the innate ability to disarm you with a look. A devoted husband, he’s the kind of guy everyone wants to know.
● Ireland’s Sissy is a fearless, no-nonsense Texas mom who married young for all the wrong reasons. Still in her prime, she’s eager to rediscover what life and love has to offer.
In the following Instagram post from September, Steve Blackman (Fargo, Altered Carbon) threw some love at his creative team while also giving fans the heads-up that prep work on Episodes #206 and #207 was underway. Following that, series co-star Min posted what might just be the literal-with-a-capital-“L” definition of a “behind the scenes video” – though it could be the opening to a hard-hitting expose on the secrets of Sheehan’s set chair:
In June, Blackman posted an image of not only the first slate of filming but also a “family photo” of the show’s writers, actors, and artists (minus Min, which really does seem pretty ironic…). Though production was expected to start in May, a June start isn’t expected to impact the series’ early 2020 return.
Here’s a look at the cast’s announcement video for the start of table reads on the appropriately-titled “Right Back Where We Started,” directed by Sylvain White (The Americans, upcoming Amazing Stories):
The Umbrella Academy was given a 10-episode second season order in April 2019 Рwith Page, Hopper, Casta̱eda, Raver-Lampman, Sheehan, Gallagher, and Min reprising their roles.
Blackman returns as showrunner and executive producer, with Jeff F. King, Mike Richardson, and Keith Goldberg also returning to executive produce. Way and Bá will co-executive produce.
NOTE: Out of respect for those who are still watching or haven’t watched the first season, we’re going with descriptions that are still set for the first season (with some necessary adjustments):
On the same day in 1989, forty-three infants are inexplicably born to random, unconnected women who showed no signs of pregnancy the day before. Seven are adopted by Sir Reginald Hargreeves, a billionaire industrialist, who creates The Umbrella Academy and prepares his “children” to save the world.
But not everything went according to plan.
In their teenage years, the family fractured and the team disbanded. Now, the six surviving thirty-something members reunite upon the news of Hargreeves’ passing. Luther, Diego, Allison, Klaus, Vanya and Number Five work together to solve a mystery surrounding their father’s death. But the estranged family once again begins to come apart due to their divergent personalities and abilities, not to mention the imminent threat of a global apocalypse.
Netflix
Colm Feore (House of Cards) as world-renowned billionaire industrialist and eccentric inventor Sir Reginald Hargreeves; Jordan Claire Robbins as more-than-she-appears family matriarch Grace Hargreeves; and Adam Godley (Breaking Bad) as the voice of Pogo, a genetically engineered, tweed jacket-wearing, talking chimpanzee who is also the family advisor and mentor.
Netflix
The Umbrella Academy also stars award-winning singer/actress Mary J. Blige (Mudbound) as ruthless, time traveling hitwoman Cha-Cha; Cameron Britton (Mindhunter) as her deadly efficient partner Hazel; Ashley Madekwe (Revenge) as Detective Patch, a driven, fast riser within the police department investigating a series of murders – and The Academy; John Magaro (The Big Short) as Leonard Peabody, who begins to take music lessons from Vanya and sees something special in this constantly dismissed wallflower, and Kate Walsh (Grey’s Anatomy) as The Handler, the head of the Commission and Number Five’s former boss.
