The upcoming Avengers game from Square Enix was sadly delayed till September. This new hit fans pretty hard as we were all excited to get our hands on some Avengers action and save the day. The delay was no surprise and it will all be worth in the end and we will be happy when September rolls around. Funko has announced that they are releasing a nice set of upcoming figures from the Marvel's Avengers game at New York Toy Fair 2020. There will be 12 releases in this wave, 1 is a chase and 4 are retailer exclusives. Iron Man, Hulk, Captain America, Thor, Taskmaster, Ms. Marvel, and Black Widow all are getting Funko Pops based on their video game appearances. Black Widow will be the character getting the special glow in the dark Chase variant. Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, and Hulk will all be getting retailer exclusives. It doesn't seem like this set is getting a lot of Glow in the Dark exclusives which is kind of odd. My favorite release is the Walmart Exclusive Hulk that features an upcoming in-game costume from the game.
The Marvel's Avengers Funko Pops are already up for pre-order and you can find them located here. After the game comes out we might see more figures come out of this line. No release date has been given for the retailer exclusives just yet.
