"Black Widow" Red Guardian and Taskmaster Are Here from Funko

Black Widow has unfortunately been postponed until further notice but the collectibles continue to release. We have already seen a couple of the Funko Pops from the series and we have reviewed them here. This time things are about to get a little Russian as we take a look at Red Guardian and another Taskmaster Funko Pop vinyl.

First, I want to take a look at another Taskmaster figure that features him with a bow and arrow. We have already seen a sword and shield version of this figure and it looks like we will get plenty more. If you have seen the newest trailer for the Black Widow film you have seen all of the Avengers being recreated by this assassin. I wouldn't be surprised if we got a Funko Pop for all of our favorite heroes in the future. This one is obviously based on Hawkeye and the packaging is no different from the rest of the figures. There is a Black Widow logo insert on the inside that does give a nice backdrop for these figures.

The figure is pretty amazing and that might be the fact that I really dig this new suit that Marvel has given us. The motorcycle stealth suit is a nice modern look on this iconic character and I can't wait to see him in action. The colors on this figure really pop and the blue is quite calming on the eyes. This figure is a good mold from the original and I honestly wouldn't mind seeing more come from Funko of him. You can lock down your own Taskmaster figure here.

Now we are taking a trip to Mother Russian as not only Natasha is getting some closure but we are introduced to a new hero. Red Guardian is here to save the day with his amazing new Funko Pop vinyl that any MCU fan needs to own. No special treatment is on his packaging besides the added Black Widow logon on the inside.

Red Guardian is a great character and I'm glad Marvel is bringing him to the screen and Funko is bringing him to life. This figure is nicely designed and features some nice weathering effects on his armor and helmet. He almost takes on the mold of older Captain America Funko Pops and I like that since he is considered the Cap of Russia. His body is nicely detailed too and is packing on aloof of attached detailed to give fans a perfect recreation of the character. This one figure from the Black Widow set that fans defiantly need to pick up and you can find them located here to add to your own collection.

Doctor Doom is Emperor in Our Newest Funko Pop Review

Emerald City Comic Con has already passed and the Funko Pop exclusives have already been shipped out and received. One of my favorites from this year's convention was the Emperor Doom Pop vinyl from the 2015 Marvel Comics Secret Wars event. This is one of my favorite portrayals of Doctor Doom and this exclusive Funko Pop fits all the right boxes. So let's not keep the Emperor waiting any longer as we dive into another Bleeding Cool Funko Pop review. 

 Right of the back nothing is really special about the box from the rest of the Fantastic Four Funko series. Like the rest of the series, it does have a Fantastic Four logo as a backdrop inside the box, which is a great addition. For this figure though we do have the Emerald City Comic Con on the window of the Doctor Doom box. I wish we had a slight packaging change for such. A badass character like God Emperor Doctor Doom. 

The figure itself is pretty awesome as the new face mask and the white cloak really stand out. The whole mold is different from the original Doctor Doom Funk Pop vinyls and I have included pictures to show the differences. Emperor Doom is a unique "skin" for this iconic Marvel villain and I'm glad they made him. I hope we can see more costumes from Doctor Doom in the future from Funko like his Infamous Ironman suit and Doom 2099. Funko WonderCon Exclusives and Where to Find Them

We finally got to see all of the WonderCon exclusives from some classic Funko Pops to new Funko Soda figures. Most of the time we don't get to see what collectibles are getting a shared release until days before. This time things are a little different as WonderCon has been postponed and a Virtual Con is stepping in for fans. They have finally released photos of where all of these WonderCon Exclusives are going with a lot of them going straight to the FunkoShop. It seems that all the major retailers will be getting 1 Pop exclusive each and all of the Soda vinyls, Cheshire, and Blue Troll are all getting an online-only release with their Pop-Up Shop. The future is now here as the Virtual Con is taking over and with the success of the Emerald City Comic Con Virtual Con I can't wait for the 2.0 version.

More Funko Soda Headed Our Way from WonderCon

Funko was planning on attending WonderCon this year and unfortunately, it has been postponed. However, that will not stop Funko as they are planning on a second virtual con to celebrate this convention wit the fans. This is the first time we are actually getting exclusives out of this con and we have already seen day 1 which was filled with new Pops. Day 2 consisted of a huge chunk of exclusive from the newest Funko Soda line that we are quite excited for. There are seven Soda figures getting released, three of them will have chase options and the other four seem to be solo releases. First up is from the hit graphic novel Scott Pilgrim as Knives Chau gets a 4000LE figure and Blue Haired Ramona gets a 3000LE figure. Next up is Cereal Ad Icons Yummy Mummy and Fruit Brute who both have Funko Soda chase variants. It is unclear if these figures are limited as no numbers are appearing on their cans but with them being convention exclusives you would imagine they would be. 

Speed Racer races up next as he gets a special 5000LE Funko figure that will include an unhelmeted version of him as the chase. The last two figures are from Masters of the Universe as Gold Skeleton and Faker have arrived but don't seem to be limited either. It is unclear where all of these exclusive will be distributed through as the physical convention being postponed. Funko Announces Exclusives Pop for WonderCon Part 1

It is pretty hard to still be able to see new Funko first this time and age but it looks like they can still surprise us. This time it looks like Funko is bringing some exclusive figures to this year's Anaheim Wonder Con 2020. This is great news for sticker collectors as these new figures will be sporting the WonderCon sticker on the packaging. Enough of this talk and let us dive right on into the first set of exclusives announced. First up is new Disney and Pixar Pops are heading our way. This time we are getting the Cheshire Cat in teacups from Alice in Wonderland which will go with the Disney Parks exclusive Alice in teacups that is already out. Then we are getting another Coco Funko Pop that features skeletons faced Miguel with a. Guitar. This figure is slightly similar to the original Pop release but with a little extra musical flavor. Next, we are diving into a galaxy far, far away as Boba Fett is back with a reversed coloring of the Target designer Black Pop.

Pokemon fans will be happy to know that two more Pokemon are getting Flocked versions fro WonderCon as Eevee and Pichu arrive. These are nice flocked version but seem a little unnecessary when we could continue to see new Pokemon Pop Vinyls. Funk has also announced two new Trolls figures that are featured in a rainbow body, kind of like the 10" Chase version of the Troll Pop. Each Troll has a different hairstyle either featuring red or blue color and the retrospective rhinestone on them too. The final Pop release that Funk gave us is my current favorite of the releases is that Captain Atom from DC Comic is getting a beautifully crafted figure. I honestly can't get over the design and the feel of this figure and for me, it is an immediate pick up.
