Iron Man and Captain America Get Minico Statues with Iron Studios

The Endgame is upon us and Iron Man and Captain America have to finally put their differences aside to stop Thanos. Iron Studios has announced two more Avengers: Endgame Minico statue that is ripe for your collection. Both characters are shown in their Endgame outfits and are nicely sculpted and detailed for the Minico line. Captain America is first up who is sporting his newly acquired weapon, Mjolnir. Cap is placed on a rubble style base and is shown with some aggression on his face sculpt. The Minico line is a unique line and I could see the disinterest in them but the big headed stylings are not a new concept and Funko has proved it has worked. Iron Man is next up and he is sporting his newest armor set and ready for action. His armor is nicely sculpted and the levitating touch for his base is a nice and simple touch. These statues are unique pieces that any fan could add to their collection and would look nice in front of any retrospective comic.

Both Iron Man and Captain America Minico Statues from Iron Studios are priced at $34.99. Pre-orders are already up and you can find Cap here and Iron Man here. Don't forget to check out the recently announced Thanos and Thor Minico statues also to help expand your Endgame collection.

Whatever it takes.

Thanos and Thor Get Minico Statues with Iron Studios

Thor and Thanos are back and ready for the Endgame once again as Iron Studios announces new statues for their Minico series. These statues have their own unique design but are packed with adorable details. Thanos is featured in his golden armor with his double edged sword. He is posed on a rock base and the shading and paint scheme really brings out these details nicely. Thor is featured with his new weapon Stormbreaker and his bigger body style. Thor's eyes are also different colored which is consistent with the film's portrayal of him which is always good for collectibles. Their design is something that could pull away collectors but bigger head designs are nothing new especially with Funko being so hot. Avengers: Endgame fans can add these figures to their growing collection and be on the lookout for upcoming Iron Man and Captain America Minico statue from Iron Studios too.

Both Thor and Thanos Minico Statues from Iron Studios are priced at $34.99. Pre-orders are already live and you can find Thor located here and Thanos located here.

"More People Probably Died Of Bee Stings This Week Than Coronavirus " – Wizard World Cleveland Still On This Weekend

There are many calls on Reed POP to cancel ECCC in a week's time over coronavirus fears – often it seems from people who would like to be able to apply for refunds on their tickets, vendor fees, hotels and travel as a result. Many companies and guests have now declared that they are pulling out, though as it stands the show is still on. And the big boy in the room, Funko, seems to be going nowhere.

And while Reed has cancelled the London Book Fair for the same week, other shows are going on regardless. Last weekend's London Film And Comic Con had a big crowd and few no-shows, we mentioned Liverpool Comic Con kicking off today without a worry, and this weekend sees Wizard World Cleveland Comic Con go ahead as planned, at the Huntington Convention Center.

Local news station Fox8 reports that the show still has a full slate of events and will be continuing "it's standard operating procedure for our housekeeping team to do a deep cleaning on what we consider high touch areas twice a day and continuing to wipe things down. This isn't something that we developed right now, this is something that we do all the time here," says Huntington Convention Center Director David Johnson said. Show organizers say they're providing sanitizer stations and are following the latest advice from the CDC.

"That's what people do at our shows all the time. They understand they're gong to be in contact with people and they're washing their hands and they're sanitizing if they're feeling uncomfortable, but we want people to feel welcome and feel safe," said Wizard World spokesman Jerry Milani.

They also quote Wes Tillander of Swords, Posters and Comics from Atlanta who says "More people probably died of bee stings this week that coronavirus so no. On the ration of rolling the dice, you're pretty safe." As long as you use hand sanitizer after rolling those dice. You never know who else has been holding them. And kissing them for good luck… Doors open at 4pm and the show runs through to Sunday.

Funko Announces a New Product Line for Pop Fans: Pop Pins!

Funko has a lot of collectibles out there from Mystery Minis, Pops, Make-up, and so much more. This time it looks like they are expanding their reach with their newest products, Pop Pins! These are almost going to make Figpins have a run for their money as they feature the adorableness of Funko's Pop design. So far five different series are getting the Pop Pins, Star Wars, Harry Potter, Marvel, DC Comics, and Disney. So far 5 pins have been announced for each series and they all include a chase. I'm not sure how the chases will take place on if it'll be in its own box or what. To make these STAND out from other pins out there, each pin has stands on their backs to prop them up. These aren't small pins either as they stand 4 inches tall so they will definitely stand out with your Funko HQ jacket or your Funko collection. My favorite one so far is the glitter Loki chase pin and it would be awesome to add to my collection as a Loki fan. From what I have heard is that they will come in boxes like Pops but a little thinner and would look good in or out of the box.

Pre-orders are not live just yet and a release date has not been given either. These mysterious collectible Pop pins are a nice surprise and if and when they do go live you'll be able to find them here. What figures ill you want to become a Pop Pin next??

ECCC Reportedly Now Offering Refunds to Artist Alley Exhibitors as Coronavirus Fears Continue

As the world continues to grapple with the spread of a novel form of coronavirus causing the deadly disease known as COVID-19, Emerald City Comic Con, set to take place in one week in Seattle, at the heart of the largest known outbreak in the U.S., is now reportedly offering refunds to Artist Alley exhibitors who no longer plan to attend the show. In the past week, we've seen major exhibitors such as DC Comics, Dark Horse Comics, Penguin Random House, CGC, Oni Press, and more announce they would pull out of the event, in addition to many of the independent comic book creators who were planning to table in Artists Alley. Even Bad Idea Comics doesn't think it's a good idea to be at ECCC.

However, Bleeding Cool's Ian Melton believes the con will go on regardless so long as Funko does not pull out.

Yesterday, ECCC released a statement offering to refund ticketholders who no longer plan to attend the show, but they did not yet have any information for exhibitors who wanted to request refunds. However, it seems emails have been going out to individual exhibitors offering refunds while continuing to insist the show will go on as planned and that ReedPOP is following safety precautions to protect attendees from infection. San Francisco Bay Area creator Der-Shing Helmer posted a screencap of one such email.

"If you're not comfortable attending Emerald City Comic Con," the email reads, "we are happy to fully refund your Artist Alley table price. This community is one of the most important aspects of our event, and we all want you to feel good about your decision to attend or not attend. Your decision to not attend will have absolutely no impact on your status with ECCC or any Reedpop event going forward."

ECCC Reportedly Now Offering Refunds to Artist Alley Exhibitors as Coronavirus Fears Continue

We'll continue to keep you updated on the situation as it develops.

Funko Not Deserting ECCC Over Coronavirus Fears… And Others

As ReedPOP prepares to hold ECCC next week in the middle of an active virus outbreak, creators and companies are backing out left and right.   However, some are hanging in there and excited for the upcoming event … like J. Scott Campbell. Tuesday night where many other creators were jumping ship, J. Scott announced he will be there and is looking forward to it, planning to bring new exclusives with him.

Many though are still expecting a cancelation from ReedPOP, as we are now exactly a week away, with some very much feeling ReedPop needs to cancel ECCC with #CancelECCC now on Twitter,

With most companies having pulled out of exhibiting at ECCC, it does become a question as to why ReedPOP would still go forward with a greatly reduced Dealer Room and Artist Ally.  However, those questioning that and thinking that it is forgone conclusion that ECCC will shut down with no companies there forget that one big company has not pulled out of ECCC, and likely will not … Funko.

Why? Well the Funko founding headquarters in Everett, Washington is only 28 miles away from the Washington Convention Center where ECCC will be held,

Not Everyone Is Deserting ECCC Because Of The Corona Virus Scare ... Funko For Example...

So all their employees and representatives are just at risk at work as they are at ECCC. Over the years as ECCC has grown, Funko's presence has increased because of the closeness of the convention and the mothership for all things Funko being so close. ECCC is also one of the very few conventions Funko directly retails at, and their presence, and the exclusives will have people showing up as long as ECCC goes forward next week.

(They will even have the Coronavirus afflicted Pop…

Next week sees the launch of Funko's Spring Convention Exclusive wave, and while many retailers are partnered up with Funko to get few of the exclusives to sell, only ECCC will have all of them to sell starting next Thursday at ECCC for those who go.  With Funko at ECCC, ECCC is very likely to start a week from today. If you personally plan to get any of the ECCC Funko exclusives on eBay, make sure the listing promises it will be "Coronavirus Free!"

As the Coronavirus gains more footing in the United States, it is likely that conventions may start to see creators and companies stay local, and not willing to venture outside their states, or even out of their cities for a while.

Bleeding Cool will have "live" coverage from ECCC starting next week, unless Seattle descends into apocalyptic like conditions beforehand…
