“Apex Legends” Fans Bring Statues to Life with Weta Workshop

Apex Legends rose like a phoenix out of the ashes from the Fortnite era. The game was different then what we were all use to. No more building, no more jump shots, and no more dancing. It gave us a run and game in a competition to become #1. Weta Workshop brings us three legends statues in their Figures of Fandom series. Pathfinder, Wraith, and Lifeline are ready for action. These statues are PVC and roughly 9” tall. Each one is based on their Apex Legends character designs for the main costume and the base is unique to each of their abilities. We get Lifeline with her robot companion and we get Pathfinder with guns and ammo from the game. Lastly, we get Wraith who is the coolest one of the trio, she is jumping out of a portal with a gun at the ready. These would be perfect gifts for your Apex Legends gamer pals or even make this a trophy for an Apex competition. 

Each one of these Apex Legends character statues is priced at $100 each. It seems a little much but dedicated fans could easily get behind owning their favorite character. The release date is scheduled for January 2020. Preorders are live and located here!

“The Umbrella Academy” Funko Pops are Coming Soon from Funko

The Umbrella Academy has recently become a mass hit with its recent launch on Netflix this year. I loved this show and I can not wait to see what happens in season 2! Funko has turned them in too Funko Pops with a massive wave releases. We will be getting two chase variants as well as a Hot Topic Glow Exclusive! Bring home the whole Hargreaves family with Luther, Diego, Allison, Klaus and Pogo the Chimpanzee butler. Vanya Hargreaves comes with a Chase variant that depicts her Evil side. This is a great Chase variant, so look out for this one. We also get The Umbrella Academy’s Number Five, who also gets the Chase treatment with a masked version of his character. Ben Hargreeves stole the show for me, I want to know so much more about Bens Character and his mysterious past. Hot Topic will be getting an exclusive Glow in the Dark version of his Funko Pop. Ben’s Funko mold is also pretty kickass itself and to see the Pop glow would be awesome. Lastly, from The Umbrella Academy, we get the mercenaries Cha-Cha and Hazel who are both wearing their stylish masks. Surprised we aren’t seeing Chase versions of them but Unmasked, I could easily get behind those variants for sure.

Avengers Assemble with Massive Wave of Bobble-Heads from Hot Toys

Avengers: Endgame has and will be an important part of cinematic history. The ability to create a universe inside the film industry was something that didn’t even seem plausible or even possible. The number of characters in some of the final scenes of the movie is mind-blowing. Hot Toys is dropping a huge Avengers: Endgame Cosbaby wave. This wave right here could almost compete with the Endgame Funko Pops. First, we get Tony Starks final moments, the Infinity Gauntlet lights up and he seems to have multiple faces. We also get another light-up Iron Man Cosbaby in the iconic superhero landing (very bad on the knees). They also get a Captain America who is battle damaged, carrying Mjolnir and a destroyed shield. Dude Thor makes his appearances with some dipping sauces and Mr. Green himself is here too. Hot Toys is also giving the Avenger ladies their time to shine with the whole lot of them. From Wasp, Captain Marvel, Shuri, Rescue and so many more. These all stand about 4 inches each so they are pretty small but with the detail, in them, it is worth it.

A release date for these Avengers: Endgame Cosbaby figures have not been released or given a price. Ore detail will be revealed later on. My personal favorites are Captain Marvel with Gauntlet, Tony’s last stand and Captain America Cosbaby’s. They would look great in any collection.

Avengers: Endgame – Cosbaby Bobble-Head

The completely new Cosbaby (S) Bobble-Head features Casual Wear Version of Thor and Hulk, Captain Marvel with Nano Gauntlet and Battling Version of Captain Marvel, Shuri, Valkyrie and Rocket with soft velvet hair.
