Funko has fully revealed their first Pop figures from the DC Bombshells comics, and they are some of the best they have ever done. The comic has proven to be wildly popular, and has inspired all sorts of other collectibles, clothing lines, you name it. DC themselves have a line of statues and even a line of action figures coming as well. But in this day and age, all that seems to matter are the Funko Pops.
The regular releases include Harley Quinn, Batgirl, Katana, and Wonder Woman. Wonder Woman also has chase sepia toned variant reminiscent of the Captain America 75th Anniversary Pop and Agent Carter Sepia Pop from last year. Those chase figures are always a little tougher to find.
Think Geek has a Black and White exclusive version of Harley Quinn with red accents.
Then, the more interesting ones. Joker has been made a Hot Topic exclusive, and he has a chase Black and White version with kisses all over him. I get Joker makes for a cool exclusive, but I can’t help but feel that this spot would have been better for one of the other female heroes of the book. That’s what it is supposed to be all about no? Why not Mera? Or Black Canary, one of the more popular characters from the book. There was no shortage of females from a female-centric book to choose from. Also: having a chase variant of an exclusive is just plain mean.
Joker has been popping up at Hot Topics already, so these Pops should be available everywhere fairly soon.
